Woodfree Uncoated Paper (WFU) – High-Quality Paper with Excellent Printability and Smooth Surface
Woodfree Uncoated Paper (WFU), also known as Uncoated Woodfree Paper (UWF) or Uncoated Fine Paper, is manufactured using chemically processed wood pulp that removes lignin from the wood fibers, making it ideal for high-quality printing applications. This paper type may contain 5-25% fillers and is often made from a mix of softwood and hardwood chemical pulps, with a minor addition of mechanical pulp (such as aspen or poplar). The paper is then calendered for a smooth finish.
