Coated paper is also called coated printing paper, and is called powdered paper in Hong Kong and other regions. It is a high-grade printing paper made of base paper coated with white coating. It is mainly used for printing covers and illustrations of high-grade books and periodicals, color pictures, various exquisite product advertisements, samples, product packaging, trademarks, etc.
100% Virgin Pulp: The paper is made from high-quality virgin pulp, ensuring optimal printing performance.
High Printing Gloss: The paper offers a high level of printing gloss, enhancing the visual appeal of printed materials.
Smooth Printing Surface: The coated paper has a smooth surface that facilitates smooth and precise printing.
ISO 9001:2000, iso14001:2004, SGS, are all available.
Coated paper was developed along with screen printing. Because the surface of uncoated paper fibers is much more uneven than the diameter of the dots, some dots are located in the gaps between the fibers and cannot transfer ink to the paper, making it impossible to reproduce the image pixels in this area. After the paper is coated with slurry and then calendered, the particles on the surface of the paper are smaller than the diameter of the dots, and the slurry is better at accepting ink than cellulose fibers. Therefore, the dots can be reproduced correctly. Obviously, the printing performance of coated coated paper is better than that of uncoated offset paper.
