1. Core raw materials
Virgin wood pulp: must pass food safety certification (such as FDA), and it is prohibited to add recycled fiber or fluorescent brightener.
Bamboo pulp: needs to be desugared by high-temperature cooking to avoid mildew, and the fiber length needs to be adjusted through pulping process.
Additives:
Wet wipes: purified water, alcohol (concentration 60%-75%), glycerin (moisturizing), flavor (food grade).
Printed paper: food-grade ink (must comply with the "National Food Safety Standard Food Contact Ink").
2. Prohibited raw materials
Waste paper pulp: The state stipulates that napkins cannot use recycled paper (unlike toilet paper) to prevent excessive bacteria.
Excessive bleach: Some low-priced products may have residual chlorine bleach, and long-term use poses health risks.
