Production process of napkins
1. Raw material processing
Pulping: The wood pulp board is broken up by a hydraulic pulper, and impurities (sand, metal fragments) are removed by high-frequency vibration screening.
Pulping: Adjust the fiber length and fineness. Bamboo pulp needs additional desugaring treatment to prevent deterioration.
2. Papermaking
Papermaking: The pulp is evenly spread on the mesh curtain, and the wet paper sheet is formed by the pressing roller. The gram weight is controlled (usually 18-25g/m²).
Drying: Drying with a high-temperature drying cylinder (100-130℃) to ensure that the moisture content is ≤8%.
Embossed/printed:
Embossed: The steel roller presses the three-dimensional pattern to improve the water absorption and aesthetics (such as diamond grid, wave pattern).
Printing: Gravure printing or flexographic printing, the ink must pass the migration test (to avoid falling off after contact with food).
3. Post-processing
Slitting and folding: The fully automatic slitting machine cuts into square or rectangular shapes, and the folding machine completes multi-layer stacking.
Sterilized packaging:
Ultraviolet or ethylene oxide sterilization to ensure that the total number of bacteria is ≤200 CFU/g.
Packaging is completed in a dust-free workshop, and the aluminum foil film is sealed to prevent moisture (preservatives need to be added to wet wipes).
Usage scenarios and selection suggestions
1. Family scenarios
Daily dining: boxed tissue paper (original wood pulp, unscented), focusing on cost-effectiveness.
For entertaining guests: printed napkins or thickened ones to enhance the dining ritual.
2. Catering industry
Fast food restaurants: ordinary mixed pulp tissue paper to control costs.
High-end restaurants: customized logo folding napkins (pure wood pulp + embossing) to match the brand tone.
Hot pot/barbecue restaurants: strong napkins, with wet wipes to provide cleaning services.
3. Special scenarios
Mother and baby groups: bamboo fiber or non-additive wet wipes to avoid alcohol stimulation.
Outdoor activities: biodegradable wet wipes (made of sugarcane bagasse), environmentally friendly and portable.
Medical field: sterilization-grade wet wipes (containing 75% alcohol), used for instrument wiping or hand disinfection.
